These film libraries – a selection of workshops, films and interviews – were made for the Digital Shoemakers Conferences in 2021 and 2022 during the Covid pandemic.
They were made possible by the generous giving of time and enthusiasm from our contributors and the global community of independent shoemakers who then came together via Zoom; a community of shoe makers, designers, repairers, vocational practitioners and delegates from associated trades keen to learn, share and chat about shoe making, at a time when human contact and interaction was curtailed.
