Farringdon Monk Shoe
The Carréducker monk shoe – a single monkstrap shoe handsewn in shell cordovan from Horween, with a comfortable round toe and standard heel height. When we decided to make a monk shoe, we wanted it to be relaxed and easy to combine with a variety of clothing styles. So we chose this shell cordovan in this rich cognac colour. The over-sized brass buckle along with the round toe shape, we loved the overall proportions of this shoe
- UPPER Shell cordovan
- LINING Vegetable tan calf
- MAKING Standard heel height; 1/4″ sole; fiddle waist; brown finish; close welt
We left the fiddle waist natural to highlight its curves and the sole has brown edges to blend with the shoe. Shell cordovan is a very desirable, supple, oily leather made from horse butt sourced from Horween in the USA.
