Vintage 1/8″ pump iron made by L Richter & Sons in Northampton, in excellent condition. Fully restored and ready to use, probably mid 20th Century
Stamped “L Richter & Sons Northampton” and “Steel Warranted 5″
Original hardwood handle measures 13cm
The iron has a single lip top and bottom with the bottom lip oversized. The two grooves are clean and well defined. Measures 1/8” (3mm) from groove to groove. Head measures 3.5cm in length.
Very nice, classic English pump iron for setting the edge of leather soled pumps in handsewn shoe making
