Saltaire Clog in British Pasture Leather

£419.00

Saltaire clogs are made in Yorkshire by one of England’s last remaining clogmakers.

Historically worn by millworkers, miners and farmers alike, traditional English clogs are loved for their all-year-round comfort and durability. Our heritage clogs are hand-made in sycamore wood with a rubber sole and heel for extra grip and ‘bounce’.

They’re sustainable, durable and repairable and can be worn with bare feet in the summer or with cosy socks in the winter.  (Ours are styled with Genevieve Sweeney’s oh-so-snuggly merino/alpaca British-made socks.

British Pasture Leather champions leather that is traceable from farm to foot. Their ethos is to source hides from cattle raised on regenerative farms which practice exemplary agriculture; forging new connections between farming, food and material culture. The leather has a deep brown patina and will become more and more supple over time.

The BPL clogs are finished with a dark brown rubber sticker sole and heel with brown laces.
