Roscoe Oxford Shoe

The Roscoe, a custom oxford shoe in Bracken St Crispins Baby Calf with a straight cap, toe medallion and bespoke, three-piece shoe trees. This is the third pair for this customer, so we had really perfected the fit. They are shoes he can wear all day and not notice he has them on. The use of a very soft calf leather helps increase the comfort levels. It is an Italian, veg tanned leather which needs to be burnished and polished by hand. This gives the leather a subtle, mottled appearance which makes them a little less dressy. The natural finish on the heel and sole edges lets the beauty of the leather sole and heels to shine through. This finish is becoming more popular and we now make a lot of shoes like this.
