Whitecross Oxfords

We love veg tanned oxfords and this pair are a fine example. Oxfords are a classic style for good reason – elegant, simple and timeless. But what we like about the use of veg tanned leather is that it has so  much surface interest which adds a new element to the style, bringing them into the 21st Century. As with all veg tanned leathers, this one tells the history of the animal’s life with its subtly mottled colour. They are made from Tempesti Elbamatt T.Moro which is the darkest shade of chocolate brown, tanned in Tuscany, Italy. It is a heavier substance than a box calf but will mould beautifully to the customer’s feet in a way that other leathers can’t. So they will become extremely comfortable over time, something our customers are increasingly asking for.
