Widely considered the best maker of scissors and shears in the UK, Ernest Wright has been making scissors since 1902
They are made from high quality carbon steel by skilled craftsmen using ancient manufacturing techniques
These are an adapted pair of their 10″ tailors shears, in that one of the edges has been widened to cut more like a knife. This helps cut through the leather and also grip the leather as you cut.
The edges are extemely sharp and can be returned to the factory for sharpening but this is a rare occurrence according to Ernest Wright.
They weigh 364g and measure 25.4cm. They come in a sliding presentation box and would make an excellent gift for any leather worker or shoemaker. They have a mirror shine and feel very well balanced in the hand

- Shipping – We process and ship online orders once a week on a Friday. They are trackable and signed for via Royal Mail or Parcelforce. We’ll let you know what the tracking number is when we ship. We aim to process all other orders within 7 days and we alert customers to any out of stock items or delays with their orders.

- Returns & Exchanges – You can return or exchange items, but please let us know your intention by email to orders@carreducker.com. Return the item in an unused, re-sellable condition within 14 days. - Out of stock –If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you immediately by email with an expected delivery time for the item. You can choose to wait, to cancel your order or for a separate delivery when we receive the item.
