Our bespoke manufactured shoe service is about you, making shoes and boots that fit and are comfortable, that suit your style and which are designed to perform whether cushioned sneakers, warm winter boots or lightweight deck shoes.
Start with your lasts (£760) and then select a service to suit your chosen style:
- Bespoke Unstructured from £1490 – lightweight and super-flexible shoes, often unlined and without a stiffener made bespoke or on our 0743 last
- Bespoke Manufactured from £1890 – from relaxed loafers and sneakers to rugged walking boots
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We start by measuring your feet – using a pencil to draw the outline and a tape measure to note circumferences and idiosyncrasies – before choosing a style, detailing and leathers. This can be done at our workshop in London’s iconic Oxo Tower on the south Bank or virtually, if you prefer.
Our skilled last maker transforms your measurements into a pair of bespoke wooden lasts, with your chosen toe shape and heel height.
We draw your chosen style onto the lasts, paying close attention to flow and proportion. Our specialist closer then creates paper patterns, clicks out the leather and stitches the uppers in the leather you have chosen.
We prepare the shoes for a fitting at which point we will see you again in person or virtually, if you prefer. This is the first glimpse of your shoes as you imagined them and is our opportunity to check and adjust the fit.
Our award-winning manufacturer finishes your shoes in his Somerset workshop employing his experience and expertise to craft lightweight, blake-stitched, cemented, micro, leather or rubber soles.
If you decide to have trees our last maker will carve them to fit your shoes. (Both shoes and lasts are sent to the last maker to ensure well-fitting trees).
We will deliver your shoes to you in person or ship them to you anywhere in the world.
We offer a full polish and repair service.
