Hopton Chukka Boot

The Hopton chukka boot is an elegant beast. The customer asked for something flexible, a boot he could wear for long days out in the city or urban weekend breaks. A boot he could wear all day and walk long distances in comfort, a walking boot if you like. However, he is a very stylish gent and dresses fairly formally most of the time. So his version of a walking boot had to accompany his wardrobe. Consequently,  we both thought a chukka boot with a soft chisel toe would fit the bill. But they are also packed with walking boot features like a thick leather sole with a commando sticker sole to keep him out of the wet. A welted seat to create a solid heel base, and a heavy substance leather.

They are a marriage of style and functionality which is something all good bespoke boots should have

We made them in Tempesti Cuoio veg tanned leather which has a thickness of 2 to 2.2mm which will protect him from the elements and it means they will be very durable. The lining is also veg tanned so the uppers will be breathable and will wick away moisture

They have a soft chisel toe; oak bark tanned leather soles by Bakers; a welted seat; and a hand built leather heel.

We love them and think they will fulfill the brief beautifully.
