Malden Oxford Shoe

The Malden bespoke  Oxford shoe – a pair of rich, chestnut brown Oxford shoes with a straight toe cap and counter. It is the unusual combination of a country grain on an Oxford shoe that makes these bespoke shoes pop! The customer was keen to have a pair of shoes which he could wear at work but also in more casual settings. So we agreed on the Oxford style, but coupled it with a Scotch grain leather. We think it is a great combination and hope that others will take up the reins and start wearing grain Oxfords. We polished them to a relatively high shine so that the casual feel did not take over completely With a heavier sole in rubber, they would also make a great country shoe. UPPERS – Warm chestnut country grain calf LINING – Straw coloured, veg. tanned calf MAKING – 1″ heel height; 1/4″ sole; bevelled waist; inked brown finish throughout.
